Cycle 4 – The Architecture of Us – Entwined Elevation
Description
Some things lift us without us realizing it.
Not a single force — but an accumulation. Of care, of shared moments, of quiet battles fought side by side. Of what we carry for one another, without always naming it. This work was born from a simple question: what holds us up, when life weighs heavy?
Inspired by Up — yet reshaped through the story of my own family — the composition shows a small tribe on a rooftop, hands linked, ready to rise. The father suspended between the house and the sky, held by the mother’s hand. Above them, a vast bouquet of balloons.
Each balloon is a world of its own. Filled with ink, line by line, with mandalas, organic patterns, floral fragments, symbols — a visual language I have been building over the years to say what words rarely can. Each one holds a fragment of our shared story: a dream, a hope, a direction forward.
Because we each carry a different past. We live the same present differently. Our hopes sometimes align — and sometimes don’t. And yet, together, all of it lifts us. Above the weight of daily life. Above the quiet struggles no one sees.
Entwined Elevation is about personal growth, but also shared growth.About becoming stronger — not alone, but together.
Built line by line, like all living structures are.
